Lambda Chi Alpha
Nicknames: Lambda Chi
Lambda Chi Alpha was started at the University of Iowa in 1962 (nationally in 1909). One of the things that sets us apart is our teeter-totter philanthropy which takes place every spring semester. It is one of the highest raising philanthropies in Greek life at Iowa, raising more than $10,000 annually. Our alumni provide scholarships for each member with a 3.00+ GPA and our chapter average is among the top 5 on campus.
We provide all members, whether new associates or actives, opportunities for leadership roles. I joined because I saw a fraternity with a great group of men who valued brotherhood, were gentlemen, and not only were leaders, but provided leadership opportunities.
