Sigma Pi

Since being first established in early 1897, Sigma Pi continued to grow across the nation toward numerous colleges and universities including the University of Iowa in 1918! As the Xi chapter has continued to grow we have always remembered the rich and thriving history that has gotten us to where we are today! Xi Chapter recharted in 2005 and has succeeded in various aspects through community service acts and raising money for a variety of philanthropy organizations. In 2014, at Sigma Pi’s biennial National Convocation Xi Chapter was named the best Sigma Pi in the nation, which was a huge accomplishment for the Xi chapter! Additionally, in 2022, at the 55th and 56th Biennial Convocation, our chapter received the Grand Council Award - which is only given to the top 3 chapters nationwide. The brothers of Sigma Pi ambitiously look to succeed academically but also grow to become better men all around.
